Last month, St. Thomas University Phase III officially broke ground, marking the start of an exciting new chapter for the campus. In this clip you can see that the first and second floors have already taken shape as the team works their way to build the third floor. Designed by MKC Architects and developed by University Housing Solutions in partnership with the university, this new phase will feature a resident lounge, an 8-lane bowling alley, a restaurant café, as well as co-working and private study rooms, promising a vibrant and dynamic environment for students and staff. Today's #FridayFlyover features Beacon Lakes Buildings 44 & 45, located in Sweetwater, FL. This is our double-build project for Prologis which was designed by Arcadis Professional Services. This build consists of two spec-shell, ground-up, tilt-panel, class-A warehouses constructed in tandem. Each building will be 164,435 SF with a 36' height clearance. As we fly over the site, we see the intricate orchestration needed to build these two large warehouses simultaneously. The team forms wall panel molds that are filled with concrete and then "tilted" into place once they are cured. Once the walls are in place, installation of the steel columns, joists, and metal decking begins, eventually sealing in the shell buildings. The metal decking is then covered in environmentally friendly & energy efficient thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing material. Link has kicked off its new project in Prologis Park at AIPO Buildings 100 and 200—Orlando’s Premiere Industrial Business Park. Designed by C4 Architecture, these two class A warehouse facilities will be tilt-up structures that include two tenant improvement builds for each facility. The two rear-load buildings will comprise Building 100 with 136,527 square- feet and Building 200 with 109,446 square feet, respectively, with a 32-foot clear height, concrete truck courts, loading doors, ESFR fire protection systems, and LED lighting. Today's #FridayFlyover is rocking over Academica’s Pinecrest North Preparatory school - Phase III. This 24,836 SF project consists of ten classrooms, two science labs, locker rooms, an athletic training room, an indoor basketball gymnasium, concession stand, and student courtyard.
