Lions of District 404B2 organized service activities around the global causes of Lions International with focus on Diabetes, Youth Empowerment, Environment, Vision, Hunger and Childhood Cancer awareness in the Agege Local Government Area in Lagos State. The medical mission on Day 2 witnessed over 500 participants from the Agege and ogba axis to be screened for diabetes as well as undergo blood sugar tests. Present at the activity were royal fathers and chiefs in the community who appreciated the effort of the District in providing health care to help the people of the community. Thank you for your service, Jeff! We're so happy to see Lions helping out others and making a difference in the community. Just one small step can have a huge impact on those in need. We look forward to seeing many more inspiring events from the Dallas Founder Lions Club! #WeServe 🦁

Volunteering with the mobile clinic by the Lions Sight and Tissue Foundation was an incredibly rewarding experience! I volunteered through my club, the Dallas Founder Lions Club, alongside the Collin Athena Alliance Club and the Sister 2 Sister student group at Dallas College El Centro Campus. Together, we hosted the clinic to bring vital eye care—like vision screenings and glasses—directly to students and others in need. During my shift, I used an Optical Digital Pupilometer to measure pupils before students saw the eye doctor, while other volunteers operated the Spot Vision Screener to detect vision issues quickly. It was a great opportunity to help those in need access critical eye care that they might not otherwise receive. The Dallas Founder Lions Club has a rich history dating back to 1916, serving the Dallas community for over a century through a variety of service projects, particularly focused on vision care and supporting those in need. Proud to be part of the Lions Clubs International global mission to improve lives through sight and other impactful causes! #lionsinternational #communityservice #philanthropy

Such an honor to see Lions across the globe helping out others in the community! Thank you Laurent and the rest of the Mombasa Lions for putting on this terrific event. 🎉 #WeServe
𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸. This would be my third year consecutively volunteering at Lions athletics competition for the disabled children of coast province. It's a different kind of human good feeling seeing the kids compete, win and cheer for their colleagues despite the odds. As Kenyans celebrate, #Mashujaaday (Heroes day) the kids are my real Shujaa's (Heroes). 🎖️🏅 Same time next year Lions Clubs International Mombasa. 🙏🏽💐 #serviceweek #volunteering #impact

1 in 4 children have vision problems that require diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, many of these children do not receive the care they need. This can significantly impact their ability to learn and thrive in school as they may struggle with reading, have difficulty concentrating in class and ultimately lose confidence in their abilities. At Johnson & Johnson | Vision we are determined to change that. This week, our colleagues were honored to host a Sight For Kids Spooktacular event in Jacksonville, Florida in collaboration with the Jaguars Foundation, Lions Clubs International, Vision Is Priceless and local organizations. Together, we provided more than 500 children from Boys & Girls Clubs of America with eye exams - to support a brighter, healthier future. The event was filled with fun Halloween-themed activities and an unforgettable experience for local children. They had the chance to meet a few of the Jags’ football players – and the biggest hit of all, the mascot - Jaxon de Ville! I’m also grateful for our employee volunteers who had the chance to be part of this event in our own backyard. Thanks to everyone who joined us and made an impact on the next generation of innovators, creators, scientists, and community leaders. I’m incredibly proud of the Sight For Kids program, and the work we do together to provide comprehensive eye health services to students around the globe! #VisionMadePossible #MyCompany
