FOR MORE THAN ONE IN 6 AMERICANS, YOUR SHOW IS A HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT. It's Easy to Make Autistic and Neurodivergent Attendees Feel Welcome at Your Show. It may be invisible to you, but many of your potential attendees are autistic or neurodivergent. One in every six Americans has sensory sensitivities. Some basic knowledge and simple accommodations can make your show a welcoming space for this underserved population. Executives and managers at shows with less than 125,000 nsf will explore this important topic at Midsize Show Roundtable, November 7 in Miami, FL. Brianna Angulo, CAS, Key Account Manager, International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) will share the keynote stage for "Taking Action on Accessibility: What, Why, and How to Welcome Autistic and Neurodiverse Audiences." A big part of the solution is providing clear communication and as much information ahead of time as possible. Key takeaways will include: > What show professionals need to know about autism, neurodiversity, and hidden disabilities. > Recent survey results revealing which accommodations have the biggest impact. > The benefits of making inclusivity an organic part of your culture. > How to make the most of attendee feedback and continuous learning. > Making a plan and tracking results. As of October 16, only three seats are open. To learn more and register, visit https://lnkd.in/erwPzfUa.

Attendee Marketing Is Shifting Gears. Here's How You Can Stay in the Driver’s Seat. Extensive research reveals that generational and societal shifts are already underway. And they’re going to require attendee marketers to evolve their channel strategies, approach the messaging, skills, tools, and overall mindset. Kimberly Hardcastle, President of mdg, A Freeman Company will share essential event industry insights that every midsize show organizer needs to know to grow their audience base. More than ever, if you’re not aggressively growing your universe, you’ll watch it wither through attrition. Exchange information with executives, directors, and managers of shows with less than 125,000 nsf at the Midsize Show Roundtable (MSR) on November 7 in Miami. Key takeaways from Take the Wheel: Attendee Marketing Is Shifting Gears will include: > How to break marketers’ email addiction in favor of a true omni-channel approach. > The importance of amplifying stakeholder voices to tell our event stories. > Why social media can no longer be an afterthought (or left to interns). MSR includes a welcome reception and dinner on November 6, a complimentary room night, and a networking breakfast and lunch. Learn more and register at https://lnkd.in/erwPzfUa.

AI Can Help You Level the Competition. Unless Your Show Is Leveled First. "ENGAGING WITH AI: AN INTERACTIVE EXERCISE" for executives, directors, and managers at shows with less than 125,000 nsf. Register at https://lnkd.in/erwPzfUa. The difference between conventional software and AI has been described as the difference between a stuffed animal and a real puppy. Your show can’t wait for an AI puppy to jump into your lap. But this Midsize Show Roundtable session is even better, and it's coming to sunny Miami on November 7. Crafting precise and effective prompts is crucial for leveraging AI tools. Tailored to the specific needs of midsize show professionals, AI expert Rich Stone, CEO, EXPOCAD by A.C.T. Inc., will equip you with the skills needed to create impactful prompts that yield accurate and helpful responses from AI. Highlights include: > Understanding the importance of context. > Narrowing the topic and expertise of the prompt. > Getting the right response by identifying the consumer. > Participating in a hands-on event-related exercise. MSR includes a relaxed networking reception and a complimentary room night. I'll keep the discussions fast-paced, fun, and on topic.

TWO MINUTES WILL DECIDE THE SALE You got lucky! After weeks of leaving messages, your prospect picked up the phone. Now, you’ve got two minutes to elicit interest in your event. Is your pitch honed to perfection? In a world where it’s getting harder every day to make one-to-one contact with a new prospect, don’t lead with a flat note. We’ve convinced exhibit sales legend Dan Cole to demonstrate what makes an elevator pitch sing, what dulls it, and how to know when it needs a tuning. "Fine Tuning Your Elevator Pitch" at Exhibit Sales Roundtable is part of a fast-paced program of actionable insights you will put to work the very next day. We are almost sold out for September 26 in Arlington, VA. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/esi9jyy. Thank you to AVIXA for sharing Dan's time and expertise with the industry. Extra special thanks to our good friend and supporter Rochelle Richardson, CEM (She/Her/Hers), who shares our commitment to giving back.
