As we reflect on another year of driving equitable growth in Los Angeles, I’m thrilled to highlight some of the transformative impacts we’ve achieved together: 📈 $149M invested in our communities, leveraging $552M to catalyze more than 1,161 affordable homes and 71,208 sq. ft. of commercial space. 🏪 Supporting entrepreneurs like Ariell Ilunga, who opened Carla’s Fresh Market with help from our Asset Building for Communities of Color program. 🏫 Graduating 25 local organizations from our Incubation Academy, leading to $1.8M in collective contracts for justice-involved individuals. 🏗️ Celebrating leaders like Gabriela Vega, who completed our Housing Development Training Institute, tackling California’s housing crisis head-on. 🚀 The Ascend LA program helped 40 minority-owned businesses secure over $53M in contracts last year. These achievements are made possible through the incredible support of our partners.
