We recently celebrated the culmination of the Black Women Vend 3.0 (BWV) program! Over the past six weeks, BWV participants honed new skills, explored AI tools, prioritized wellness, and crafted stories around their brands—guided by an incredible group of facilitators: Delphine Pruitt, Safiya Jihan Miller, Christa Chambers-Price, Joy A. Cooper, MD MSc, Anim Aweh, LCSW, LICSW, CHE,CSM, and Jenn Laurent. Founded by Jenn Laurent, BWV is about more than business—it’s about navigating the challenges of street vending, building sustainable futures, and honoring the legacy of street vendors in Leimert Park and beyond. We are incredibly proud of these entrepreneurs and the futures they are creating. This milestone marks just the beginning of their journey! Thank you to U.S. Bank, Destination Crenshaw, and Black Women Vend for making this program a success. #BlackWomenVend #LISCLA #WomenEntrepreneurs #SouthLA Nicole Williams Krista Phipps Jason Foster
