This initiative, is a great example of how we're enhancing the Little League experience at the grassroots level and driving forward inclusion and opportunity for all. Little League Finalizes #GWG50 Grants, Providing Nearly $240,000 in Community Support The #GWG50 Grant Program kicked off in February and focused on providing local leagues and volunteers with financial resources needed to enhance the Little League experience at the grassroots level. “We hope the funds provided to these 54 leagues will help towards the growth of our program and serve as an inspiration to other leagues around the world. It was a big year for girls and women in sports in 1974. Little League opened its playing fields for softball and girls baseball opportunities, and icon Billie Jean King launched the Women's Sports Foundation. As we continue to celebrate #GWG50, we were honored to join so many partners and friends to help the Women's Sports Foundation celebrate their 50th Anniversary at their Annual Salute, as we continue our commitment to bringing more sports opportunities to girls around the world.

Promoting and encouraging female participation in Little League is paramount to our core values of inclusion and building community. Events like the #GirlsWithGame Experience are integral to connecting the levels of girls in sports from youth to college to professional! 🎥 But don't take it from us, hear about #GWGX from the girls and women who participated ⤵️

GRAND OPENING 🥳 This Saturday, October 12, we're hosting the Official Grand Opening of the Little League Flagship Store. Held in coordination with the 2024 Girls with Game Experience, it will be a full day of fun on the Little League Complex in Williamsport, featuring a variety of family-friendly activities, including an autograph signing with MLB Hall of Famer and Little League graduate, Tom Glavine! While this event will mark the Official Grand Opening, the new Flagship Store first opened its doors this summer during the 2024 Little League Baseball World Series, Presented by T-Mobile.
