Community Update: Support for LA ❤️ If you or your loved ones have been impacted by the wildfire evacuations and are seeking accommodations on Kindred: • We’ve spun up a dedicated support team that is ready to help. Please email or chat us in the app and tag @urgent for assistance in finding and coordinating a trip. • We’re waiving all service fees and credit requirements for these trips booked through January 17th. • If you have a friend or loved one in the LA area in need of housing who is not a Kindred member, please reach out to us to discuss your options for booking a Kindred stay on their behalf. • You can view more booking and LA Community Support information here: https://lnkd.in/eYxdCPx6 
👉 Here’s how you can help support: • Offer Your Home: If you’re a Kindred member and are able to open your home, guest house, or second home to support LA-based members affected by the fires, please email us. We’ll add you to a collection of volunteer hosts. As a thank you, we’re offering an extra +0.5 credits per night to those who host evacuees. • Help crowdsource lease opportunities: One of the most urgent needs is finding longer-term rental options (3+ month leases) for members who lost their homes. While Kindred doesn’t offer rentals, we’re coming together as a community to crowdsource any leads we have for available lease opportunities and share them with those in need. Last week, we brought together 58 teammates from 3+ countries and 20+ cities for our regular team offsite. 🌍 🤝 The theme of this offsite was connection and growth—both as individuals and as a team. Over the course of a few days, we reflected on our journey so far, shared big ideas for the future, and focused on how we can continue to build a product and brand that our members will love. We’re so grateful to work with such an incredible group of people who are deeply passionate about what we do. Here’s to a year of meaningful connections and bold growth ahead!

A huge thank you to Kindred for hosting an amazing offsite work trip in Atlanta, GA! 🍑 As someone who works remotely, it was such a rewarding experience to meet coworkers from other departments and finally connect in person with people I’ve only collaborated with virtually. Spending time together strengthened our team bonds and highlighted what makes Kindred so special ✨ I’m grateful to be part of a company that truly values connection, community, and teamwork.
