As many of you may know, my mother Yelena inspired the genesis of Cobu when she moved to an apartment building in NYC to fulfill her American Dream. Three years ago, she passed away after a courageous battle with ALS — a disease that took her ability to speak, walk, and function, but never her spirit. Her memory continues to inspire us to bring her love of community building, connecting people, and sparking joy to a global scale. To honor her legacy, our Cobu team is committed to building communities where everyone feels they belong and supporting the fight to end ALS. Since 2021, thanks to our incredible team and generous donors, we’ve raised over $30,000 for The ALS Association. This September and October, Cobu will participate in our 3rd Annual Walk to Defeat ALS in Orlando & Bangalore. The ALS Association does so much for the ALS community & research, and we are proud to support this important organization. Please consider donating or spreading the word.
