  • Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's (LNRMC) employees regularly host collection drives for nonprofit, charitable organizations in our community, and, most recently, collected canned goods and other non-perishable food items for The Christian Mission (TCM), located in downtown Mooresville. This week, we delivered our items to the Mission's Food Pantry to help stock the shelves. Featured in the delivery drop-off photo, left to right: Amy LaCount, TCM Executive Director; Mitzie McCurdy, LNRMC Recruiter; Sarah McMurry, TCM Development Associate; Dave Thomas, TCM Lead Volunteer; Scotty Moore, Assistant Director; LNRMC Network Director of Marketing Leigh Whitfield; and Trenton Warrington, TCM Volunteer. • It's that time of the year when the spirit of the season is on full display at Lake Norman Medical Group, Primary Care Byers Creek, much to the delight of their patients...from pediatrics to seniors! Just in time for trick-or-treaters, and leading the cast right out of Dr. Seuss' story of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas," is Elizabeth Hayes, DNP, FNP-BC, starring as Cindy Lou Who, in pink, surrounded by the Grinch (Jennifer) on left and his faithful Dog Max (Sandra) on right. Great job Primary Care Byers Creek for bringing out the annual Halloween fun and joy! #LakeNormanMedicalGroup #PrimaryCareByersCreek

  • Continuing our Healthcare Quality Week (HQW) celebration, the Hand Hygiene Police have been out and about today in full force apprehending potential violators of our stringent "Hand Hygiene" policies. In this instance, however, our Network CEO Alec Grabowski did not violate hand hygiene policy, but he did graciously go along with our Hand Hygiene Enforcers today during morning Safety Huddle....to set a good example, of course! Thank you, Alec, for always being such a good sport AND for leading by setting a great example! #HealthcareQualityWeek #HQW2024
