The Long Island Hospitality Association provides resources, insight and support for Long Island Hospitality professionals, businesses and students. LIHA also provides scholarships to LI Hospitality students. The LIHA hosts quarterly meetings and gala events , which may include educational seminars, various symposiums with guest speakers and industry leaders, membership meetings, fundraising events, and more. We provide mentorship opportunities and scholarships to Long Island students attending local colleges in a Hospitality program. The LIHA also works with and supports other local industry associations that promote Long Island as a premier tourism destination. The association works closely with colleges, high schools and universities throughout Long Island that offer tourism and hospitality related programs. The LIHA also collaborates with Discover Long Island, Association for a Better Long Island (ABLI) , New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSH&TA), U.S. Tourism Association, American Hotel & Lodging Association(AHLA), Long Island Association (LIA) local Chamber of Commerce organizations and local elected officials.
