If you're attending the #SESAH Conference in Marietta, GA this week, don't miss out on an exciting session with David Steele, AIA, NCARB, CDT, one of our talented #HistoricPreservation architects. David will be presenting his paper titled "The History and Rehabilitation of the Gaston Motel." The #GastonMotel is significant both for the man who created it, A.G. Gaston, and for its association with the #civilrights movement, particularly the Birmingham Campaign. The SESAH paper will discuss a short history of the Motel and its rehabilitation. Make sure to mark your calendar for session 2B this Thursday, October 3rd, and join him for this enlightening discussion! More info on the conference: 🔗 #Architecture #Preservation #ThenandNow #LAS
