Thankyou Viveka Rydell-Anderson JD, MSc for the invitation to present Intelligyn and participate in a panel discussion last week led by Matthias K. at the HIMSS Northern California Chapter last week. Alongside the very inspiring Noel Pugh of Lōvu Health (the first ever digital "Mom's Marketplace" leveraging tech and services to provide comprehensive support for ALL mothers) and @Farooq Siddiqui of Mirvie (a breakthrough RNA platform which can predict pregnancy complications like preeclampsia before symptoms using a blood test) our conversations centered on the advancements as well as the barriers to care across maternal and women's health with each of us sharing insights into our companies' work. Thank you to Microsoft and Quinton Feltner of Nuance Communications for hosting us! In addition, I'd also like to address the ongoing threats to reproductive rights in the United States. It's important more than ever that we stand together to defend ALL the progress that's been made toward gender equality. When employer's offer women's health services, we must ensure these technologies genuinely serve women's best interests and protect their privacy and ensure sensitive health information (such as period tracking) is not to be misused and lead to discriminatory practices including terminating employment due to pregnancy. Advancing women's health does not need to come at the cost of our privacy or dignity.
