Make Music Count

I’m very pleased to announce the kickoff of our 2 year partnership with my home town school district, Windsor Public Schools. I’m grateful to take the skills I acquired in these exact schools to then provide a resource to the next generation of Windsor students.

I’ve really been interested in getting the Make Music Count workbooks into Target stores. Our workbooks pair with our free app that allows you to play your workbook math answers on a virtual piano with music in the app. I think that’d give us a huge edge on the shelf. I had an incredible experience at Morehouse College and enjoyed sharing how that time led to the creation of my EdTech company Make Music Count. Here’s a snippet from the interview that shows an example of applying fractions to play “They Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar and where our app fits within school districts, homeschool and as an individual app.

Today is the 11th Anniversary of Make Music Count! To date we have served 426 Schools, and 100,000+ students through school districts and as an individual app. We are very grateful for the opportunity to contribute a new way of approaching math learning. To celebrate, we are excited to announce our entry into to the HomeSchool Market! Check out our brand new website www.makemusiccount.com that now offers parents monthly subscription options to bring our supplementary app to their homeschooled children. After watching the Apple WWDC, I’m inspired to develop Make Music Count into an app that is compatible with VisionPro! Can you imagine solving math equations on a virtual piano projected from the goggles?!? 🤯 And don’t even get me started on the automated solving of math equations on the iPad!
