Today, we acknowledge Jaylen for his consistency and perseverance in SAVING up for his first car 🚗 ! After 2 years of working and creating a saving plan, he was able to purchase his FIRST vehicle that will support him in continuing his education and elevating in his career.

Calebe just took a BIG STEP for his future. He just enrolled at the Universal Technical Institute, Inc. for a one-year program for Automotive Technology. We cannot wait to see you graduate and start your career! Side note for those considering this career: the average Automotive Technician salary in Houston, TX is $67,000 and the salary ranges between $59,000 and $74,000. Think about it? 🤔

Diego graduated from our Maneva Youth 2022 Summer cohort. He tried many things and finally found what he loves. Last week, we had the pleasure of attending graduation for two incredible young ladies, from our Spring Maneva Youth Cohort, who just completed their CNA certification program. Through our partnership with BridgeYear and MAM Houston - Memorial Assistance Ministries, both students received a completely paid for certification course and have interviews with Memorial Hermann Health System to start working. And that's a wrap... here's to our Spring 2024 cohort! We are thrilled to have spent the last 7 weeks exploring career pathways post graduation, creating resumes and practicing interviewing, and learning about financial independence. Our participants have each chosen different paths: some will attend community college or a 4 year university, some will pursue Certifications or vocational school through a community partner agency, some have enrolled in Military, and a few will start working full time.
