Providing homes, and inspiring hope
About us
Many Mansions is a non-profit organization that provides well-managed, service-enriched, affordable housing to low-income residents of Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, with a special focus on those of very low-income, who are formerly homeless, seniors, veterans, or disabled. We own and manage over 600 units of affordable housing, serve approximately 1,300 adults and 300 children, provide on-site services and programs that include job training, case management, homework tutoring, supplemental food distributions, college scholarships, and much more. By providing decent housing and life-enriching services to those most in need, we aspire to help individuals and families aim to improve their lives and remove the barriers that prevent low-income members of our community from having a basic need met—a place to call home. Many Mansions is grateful to Takeda for the incredible opportunity to tour their facility and explore the fascinating world of biotech! This was such a unique opportunity for our teens to step inside the world of cutting-edge science and see firsthand how medications are developed and brought to market. Thank you for opening your doors to the future students of biotech.
Our facility in Thousand Oaks is a proud supporter of its Gender Parity Network DEI-focused employee resource group committed to realizing gender parity across Takeda and within the community. The Thousand Oaks Gender Parity Network group recently partnered with local non-profit Many Mansions to host a tour for the organization’s summer STEAM program. The visit was designed to inspire youth by exploring the numerous educational paths in the sciences, discussing the available science career options and highlight the work we do at a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. It was inspiring to meet our next generation of quality analysts, manufacturing scientists and more! The pharmaceutical industry has great career opportunities. Take a look at Ventura County Star’s article about the community coming together to get Central Terrace ready for residents to move in!
About 25 volunteers (Ventura County Credit Union, U.S. Bank, West Ventura County Business Alliance, JR Bookkeeping) pitched in on Thursday to prepare a new affordable housing complex by Many Mansions in downtown City of Oxnard for its first residents before they arrive next week.

Chamber President/CEO Danielle proudly announced Many Mansions as the Nonprofit of the Year during a "surprise presentation" at their annual Bowls of Hope event. Many Mansion serves over 1,500 of the most vulnerable members of our community. Residents include families of very low-income, seniors, veterans, disabled individuals, and those who were homeless. Their mission is to provide homes and inspire hope through quality housing, services, and education. They will also be the lead organization in the development and operation of the Thousand Oaks Navigation Center that will provide 30 modular units of interim housing scheduled to break ground in April. Many Mansions will be honored at our upcoming Recognition Gala, on May 17th where their remarkable impact will be celebrated.
