“I came to Mardel Christian & Education ten years ago from a prior career in big box retail. After managing stores in Texas, Oklahoma, and Virginia as a Co-Manager, Manager, and then supervisory, and also having the opportunity to take part in the hiring and supervision of new store openings, I have most recently been blessed with the opportunity to serve my community as the District Manager for Mardel. Our Story
In 1981, Mart Green, Founder, stepped out of his family's business, Hobby Lobby, to pursue his own dream in the Christian and office supply retail market by opening the first Mardel retail store in northwest Oklahoma City. Today Mardel has 37 stores and has expanded into several states, including Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Louisiana, South Carolina, Virginia, and Nebraska.
