🌟 Marion County Summer Intern Highlight 🌟 Hello Marion County! Meet another one of our summer interns: Sean Finch. He is an information technology intern with our I.T. Department here at Marion County. Sean was born in Gainesville, FL, but has lived in Ocala, FL most of his life. He graduated from Forest High School in 2020. He then achieved his A.A. from the College of Central Florida in 2022. Sean transferred to the University of South Florida and is not about to graduate with his B.S. in Computer Science this December! While interning at Marion County, Sean is getting a jump start on his professional career. He began this internship because he wanted to gain experience and learn more about I.T. work flow and processes. He is looking forward to graduation and moving into his professional career with experience and confidence! Welcome to our team, Sean!

🌟Marion County Summer Intern Highlight 🌟 Hello Marion County! Meet another one of our summer interns: Josh Gilmer. He is a legislative intern with our legislative manager, Dr. Matthew Cretul. Josh was born in Little Rock, AR, but moved to Belleview, FL shortly after his birth. Josh was homeschooled and attended Florida Virtual School while dual enrolling at the College of Central Florida. He graduated this year from the College of Central Florida with his A.A., while working full-time. Josh will be attending the University of Central Florida in the fall to major in Political Science! While interning at Marion County, Josh is gaining valuable experience to eventually run for an elected office or work in the public sector. He is expanding his professional network and gaining valuable experience within his local government. Josh is focused on his goals and is looking forward to the challenges ahead!
