We spotted some exciting trends right off the bat: low sugar and high protein are front and center, with a strong focus on metabolic health and probiotic health. Gut-loving foods and beverages are everywhere, with people talking about maintaining blood sugar levels and managing diabetes. Probiotic health is a big hit too, included in so many refreshing beverages with impressive health benefits and adaptations. It’s been fantastic catching up with colleagues and meeting new faces. With a thoughtfully curated color palette, a clear communication hierarchy, and playful woodland illustrations, this packaging tells the story of how these diapers are made, how they perform, and how they feel. Pushing the idea of affordable sophistication for this refresh, MBD designed this packaging for Smart & Final using rich color vignettes and flavor cues to differentiate the skus. In a historically overwhelming category, a clear and concise titling system with a white outline elevates the label, while also helping to differentiate each sku.
