We had another great opportunity this week to co-sponsor an event for the Head Start and Early Learning departments through the GISD at the Flint Institute of Arts! A big thank you again to Julie Forbush and Donna of Sovita Credit Union for inviting us in! They both do an incredible job at these events and it is very much appreciated by all! There were about 200 teachers and staff that attended. They were provided lunch, gift card raffles, Sovita and Meemic gear, and other prizes, as well as sessions and classes throughout the day. Thanks to everyone for coming out! Here’s to a great year!

Another back to school breakfast for the Imlay City Spartans! We had the opportunity to co-sponsor it once again and provided breakfast, Meemic gear, and a gift card raffle for the staff. It’s always nice getting back to Imlay where Mark taught and coached for many years! Thanks to all the incredible staff that came out and chatted with us and congrats to all of the gift card winners! Stu Cameron gave a rousing, motivating speech once again to set the year off right! It was great seeing you all! Have a great start to the school year! #ImlayCity

Our 2024-2025 school year calendars have arrived! We will be out and about delivering calendars and a fresh batch of our Meemic pens to all of our area schools this summer. They are also available at either of our offices if you would like to stop in and grab one and say hello! See you all soon!

We had an awesome opportunity to help co-sponsor a lunch at the Flint Institute of Arts with our good friend Julie Forbush and Sovita Credit Union! We would like to thank Julie for setting all of this up and inviting us in! A lunch was catered, along with a gift card drawing, and other prizes, for 200 staff members of the Head Start and Early Learning departments through the GISD! The Flint Institute of Arts was a beautiful venue and we took the opportunity to look around at all the incredible art pieces, sculptures, and artifacts from around the world. We had a lot of fun passing out some Meemic gear, talking to all the friendly teachers and staff members of the GISD, and will absolutely be doing another one of these again! A big thank you again to Julie Forbush, Sovita, and all of the rockstars at the Head Start and Early Learning departments! It was a great time!

We had another awesome time sponsoring Davison Community Schools end of year awards luncheon! Right before summer break each year, Davison gets the entire staff together to honor and recognize all the outstanding staff members and retirees with a lunch, prizes, and awards. It's a very nice send off for the summer! We gave away 20 gift card raffle prizes, bracelets, and plenty of Meemic gear to show our appreciation! Thank you to everyone involved and a big congratulations to all the award winners. Have a great summer, Cardinals! 😎

We had the honor and opportunity to attend and help sponsor the Education Foundation for the Flint Community Schools annual awards ceremony at Mott College Event Center! The theme this year was “ARTrageous” - Celebrating Education as Art. The Event Center looked incredible, yet again. There were beautiful art pieces from Flint elementary schools, so many colorful set pieces, and plenty of snacks! A huge thank you to Angela Hood and all the sponsors (plus so many others) that were responsible for making this happen! A special shoutout to our friend Julie Forbush of Sovita Credit Union! They are always a big sponsor for this event. Also, The Kids in Need Foundation, the Genesee Health System, the United Teachers of Flint, and Mott Community College were integral in sponsoring and donating. We would like to congratulate all the Award Winners, as well! Crystal Dias, Debra Depalma-Yon, Barbara Miller, Nancy Burkhardt, Gretchen Shafer, Dorothea Pritchett, and Joe Eufinger were all honored with awards. Congratulations! We love all of our dedicated and passionate Flint Community School’s teachers and staff. It’s so nice to see some of them get formally recognized for being rock stars! It was such a fun event. We will see you all again next year!
