We are excited to announce the promotion of Casey Gibson to Director of Leasing at Martin Selig Real Estate. With over a decade of brokerage experience and a deep understanding of the commercial real estate landscape, Casey brings fresh insights and innovative approaches to our leasing operations. A Seattle native and proud UW alumnus, Casey holds a Master of Science in Real Estate, a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate, and a B.A. in Business Administration, all from the University of Washington. Prior to joining MSRE, Casey spent a decade working in commercial real estate brokerage at Colliers International where he represented tenants and landlords in lease and sale transactions for office, industrial and retail properties in Seattle. Faced with abrupt industry changes brought by the pandemic, Casey enrolled in the Master’s program at the Runstad Department of Real Estate at the University of Washington; graduating in the top of his class while completing the 24-month program in just 12 months. Soon after graduating, Casey joined MSRE’s leasing team where he made immediate contributions, implementing an analytical approach to our deal evaluation process, and bringing a fresh set of eyes to department operations. As our Director of Leasing, Casey oversees all leasing activities, ensuring that proposals and leases are accurate and achievable. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in communicating with our Executive team to ensure our tenants’ needs are met with the high level of service and care they have grown accustomed to. Casey is committed to continuing our legacy as a service-oriented landlord, ensuring we remain uniquely flexible and accommodating for our tenants. We are excited to announce the promotion of Melinda Coleman to the role of Director of Operations at MSRE. Joining MSRE’s Parking department in 1998, Melinda grew her role into Operations, and later, became MSRE's first female Building Manager. As a member of our team for over 25 years, Melinda has a wealth of knowledge collaborating across departments and has strong experience working with tenants to meet their needs. During her tenure, Melinda worked closely with our teams to upgrade and implement new parking and security systems, modernize elevator systems, prepare for Y2K, and lead our tenant communications and building protocols through the WTO protests and the recent pandemic. In her new role, Melinda is committed to providing an attractive and productive place for our tenants to conduct business while pledging to meet the highest standards of sustainable operation.
