Yesterday, a group of Marlborough High School seniors enrolled in the Technium, Inc. Cyber Camp and had the incredible opportunity to visit the Markley Group, a state-of-the-art telecommunications, and data center! 🏢💡We were super fortunate to have Marlborough Economic Development Corporation join us as well! Our wonderful regional coordinator, Amanda Chenier, acted as a liasion for this experience with the knowledgeable guides leading the group on an exclusive tour and showcasing the latest innovations in telecommunications and data management. 🔍 Key Highlights: Cutting-Edge Tech: Students were amazed by the sophisticated infrastructure that keeps our digital world connected and running smoothly.🔆 Behind-the-Scenes Insight: We explored the inner workings of data centers, understanding the critical role they play in storing and processing vast amounts of data.📊 The field trip was educational, sparking curiosity and interest in potential careers in technology. We've recently kicked off the latest round of our Tier One program! Here, you can see our talented young professionals in the Framingham cohort. 🥳 This program focuses on developing essential skills needed before entering the workforce, including email etiquette, dress code, and overall professionalism, among many other areas.💼 During the first week, we highlighted the importance of collaboration through various teamwork-based games, which allowed the 14-15 year olds the chance to get to know one another better.🌟 We're confident that our young professionals will make us incredibly proud as future leaders throughout the duration of the program and afterwards! 🧡 #YouthConnections #TierOne #FutureLeaders #ProfessionalDevelopment
