In today’s fast-moving world, businesses need speed, security, and control over their payments. With Mastercard’s account-to-account capabilities, we’re making it easier for businesses to pay for goods upon delivery, enabling smoother operations, better cash flow management, and stronger supplier relationships. Payment on delivery is just one of the many use cases enabled by real-time payments utilizing a Request to Pay overlay that sits within existing payments infrastructure. It enables central banks to bring more consumers and businesses into the digital economy. How it works: 📌 A supplier delivers goods and sends a real-time payment request. 📌 The buyer inspects the goods and then approves the request triggering the payment securely through their banking app. 📌 Funds move immediately, ensuring seamless transactions and trust. 🔗 Ready to embrace the future of payments?
