Huang's visionary work, including his doctoral dissertation on "Urban Ecology and Underclass in New York City" and research on the relationship between public school performance and neighborhood demographics. These studies revealed stark disparities in educational resources, particularly in lower-income and minority neighborhoods. For example, mapping public school performance with poverty rates and the distribution of Kumon & Mathnasium Centers in New York City showed a clear correlation: these centers are predominantly in middle and upper-class neighborhoods. Determined to make a difference, we founded Mathzoos to uplift education standards in low-income areas. Our online platform offers high-quality education at a low cost, erasing boundaries and empowering every child to unlock their full potential.
