This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced individual to join and grow with a dedicated service team. As a Senior Service Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality repairs and maintenance of vehicles, from diagnostics to completion, while collaborating with the sales team and service coordinator. Key Responsibilities: Conduct diagnostics and repair work on new vehicle deliveries and current inventory. Collaborate with the sales team and service coordinator to schedule repairs and subcontracted work. Order parts and manage inventory for the service department. Greet customers, discuss their automotive repair needs, and provide detailed repair estimates. Explain the work to be performed and advise customers on additional services or products. Maintain ongoing communication with customers, providing updates on repair progress and any changes to the repair plan. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Keep accurate records of all repairs and customer interactions. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive field. Expertise in servicing domestic pickup trucks (e.g., Ford F150, GMC Sierra, Dodge RAM). Formal education and certification are highly desirable but not mandatory for the right candidate. Key Competencies: Excellent communication skills for in-person, phone, and email interactions with customers, service technicians, and staff. Ability to work independently and manage the entire shop effectively. Competence in generating comprehensive work orders and invoices. Strong customer service, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
