On Wednesday we got together as a Business Development team to share our plans for FY26. It’s so important to take time with colleagues to share common goals and build closer working relationships. Now, I’ve built towers with spaghetti and marshmallows with my Beaver Scouts but never with jelly babies, and never with our CCO! 🤣 Graham Smart and Sam Ashkuri I think you should definitely volunteer as Scout Leaders! Great to connect with friends and colleagues across the local Insurance & Legal sectors, in a relaxed and social environment. McLarens Asia Alert: Severe flooding in Indonesia Severe flooding is affecting Greater Jakarta, triggered by prolonged heavy rains in the upstream and downstream areas of the Ciliwung River, Bekasi River, and Kalimalang Canal. Water levels have reached up to 3 meters in some areas, displacing thousands. The Meteorological Agency has issued warnings for tidal floods in 17 regions. Authorities are implementing measures to mitigate the impact, including deploying water pumps and weather modification efforts. This flood has caused widespread damage to transportation, hospitals, commercial areas, warehouses, offices, and thousands of dwelling houses. In response, our McLarens Indonesia CAT Response Team is actively engaged, with Adjusters and Surveyors on site assessing affected properties to assist Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers, and Clients.
