Every day, we’re building something extraordinary with an amazing team! We are thrilled to share that we’ve received a Contract Award Recommendation for Design-Build Services for the comprehensive rehabilitation and modernization of the Dadeland North Metrorail Station Parking Garage, designed by @bermelloajamil architects. Since its completion in 1984, the Dadeland North Metrorail Station has seen a significant increase in usage, highlighting the need for infrastructure improvements. This exciting project will include the installation of two new elevators, modernization of four existing elevators, and refurbishment of the current parking garage to better serve our patrons. #WEAREMCM

MCM and Huxted Trenchless - Microtunneling underneath the FEC railroad in Medley. This operation is capping off the installation of 12,000 lineal feet of a submerged 36-inch water main pipe. The Microtunneling Boring Machine used for this project was named “Peter Pan,” a tribute to the courage of the founders’ fathers and uncles, who were among the many Cuban children brought to the United States during Operation Pedro Pan. This initiative, which took place from 1960 to 1962, saw over 14,000 unaccompanied Cuban minors, aged 9 to 15, sent to the U.S. to escape communism. The founders of MCM and JAG Companies Inc. experienced significant challenges, including the grief and despair resulting from being separated from their parents. Despite these hardships, they persevered to build successful businesses and achieve their own versions of the American Dream. We take pride in honoring our fathers, our companies, and our accomplishments. #WEAREMCM #PedroPan
