The Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) is an international, nonprofit trade association dedicated to the promotion of the used machinery industry. It was established in 1941 to assure buyers of the integrity and reliability of hundreds of used machinery dealers from around the world that are members of our association. The foundation of the MDNA is our Code of Ethics. As a condition of membership, MDNA members agree to abide, unequivocally, by the terms of the Code, and renew this pledge annually. The MDNA's Southern Regional Chapter gathered during the Fabtech trade show in Orlando Florida on October 16th, 2024. The meeting was held at Titanic - The Artifact Exhibition Orlando and was a live action participation play about the adventures in the final days and hours of the Titanic's final, and only, crossing. Attendees were assigned characters of actual passengers to play during the adventure. This event was very well attended by not only chapter members, but many visitors from out of the area who were in town for the trade show. Despite occurring just days following Hurricane Milton the event was a great success. The success of this event once again demonstrates how networking together builds relationships, fosters friendships and wins business. The Southern Regional Chapter thanks all who attended and encourages all members to join us on our next Chapter Meeting Adventure coming to Atlanta in March of 2025. Andrew (Andy) Kamashian, CEA

Manufacturing (M4M) 5K Run/Walk is AMT's annual community fundraising event. The 10th Anniversary Run/Walk occurred during IMTS 2024 in Chicago, where 568 runners and walkers laced up their sneakers for a good cause. Combined with the generous support of industry sponsors, the 2024 event raised a record-breaking $47,445 to support 17 organizations focused on STEM education, including 12 FIRST Robotics teams, the Women in Manufacturing Education Foundation, and over $10,000 for the Children First Fund – The Chicago Public Schools Foundation. We were honored to be a part of it and can't wait for the next race in 2026!
