🌱 Last week, our team had the fantastic opportunity to attend Natural Products Expo West, the pinnacle event for natural, organic, and healthy products. It was an insightful experience, uncovering the latest trends and flavors shaping the food industry. 🌟 One of the featured trends this year was the emphasis on high-protein foods, alongside hydration and organics. 🌶️🥒 🥦 While fruits and vegetables typically don't match the protein quality of animal products, they can be combined cleverly to enhance their nutritional value. For instance, our nutritionist Natalie recommends: - Blend steamed chickpeas and artichokes to make a hummus. - Toss green peas into a kale salad with guava dressing for a refreshing twist. - Simply snack on edamame for a quick protein boost.
