I just got off the phone with my brother and that last thing he said was that people will wish they have invested more into Memphis. With compounding infrastructure updates activated fiber, smart city sensors, and the new supercomputer xAI Memphis is on path one of the advanced cities in the US. I’m calling all of my techies who will be in the city for November 15-17th to participate in HackMemphis.com We will have resources from all over to city to transform Memphis. Here are some of the ideas I’m thinking on GUN SHOT SAFTEY SENSOR: a necklace or accessory that is always listening for dangerous sounds and alerts POTHOLE DETECTION BY DRONE: using drones to detect and analyze pot holes AR BIKE TRAIL APP: find bike trails with my meta glasses or any ar headset Emergency Dispatcher AI: a AI digital twin who can perform dispatcher duties when lines are busy (Voice, Video, Text) If you can’t afford the fee please DM me

Unfortunately due to a lack of talk submissions, we are going to have to cancel our planned Super User Group meeting in September. We believe the community would benefit from these types of events, so we'll be redoubling our efforts to recruit speaker and plan to have a meeting in the Spring of 2025.
