October was full of festivities! We kicked off the month with pumpkin decorating and were thrilled to have Montgomery Bell Academy volunteer with us. We banned together for Breast Cancer Awareness. Our alumni group assembled “boo baskets” for clients, and our staff hosted a lively fall festival. To top it off, we were featured in the Social Work Office of Research & Public Service (SWORP) newsletter! Thank you to everyone who made this month a memorable one!

We are beyond grateful for everyone who joined us at the 20th Annual Rise Breakfast. Thank you for your overwhelming support, we achieved record attendance this year! We celebrated this incredible milestone with inspirational remarks by award-winning singer-songwriter, Amy Grant. Your attendance and generosity directly supports the nearly 500 women we serve each year as they work to reclaim their lives from addiction. We are deeply thankful for the community you have helped create and the life-changing journeys your support will bring.

At Mending Hearts, we believe in restoring women and reclaiming lives. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we open our doors to women seeking healing from addiction and trauma, welcoming them with compassion and support—no matter their ability to pay. This National Nonprofit Day, we’re deeply moved to share the voices of our alumna and staff, whose stories remind us of the profound impact of our mission. Together, we restore, reclaim and inspire.
