Today we remember the life of Max Lenowitz, who died on this day in 2022 after taking what looked like a prescription Xanax. It was a counterfeit pill that contained a lethal dose of Fentanyl. After Max's death, NJ lawmakers designated July 14th as Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Day. #OnePillCanKill, and educating yourself on these dangers is the best way to encourage #prevention. Please visit DEA.gov/onepill to learn more about the #OnePill campaign. To read Max's story, visit https://gofund.me/1edaf338.

#FridayFacts: Harm Reduction Save Lives! July 14th is Fentanyl Poisoning Awareness Day. Fentanyl poisoning is often accidental. Reduce the risk of poisoning by knowing the source of the substance, testing it, and having access to reversal methods like Naloxone (Narcan). For more information on counterfeit pills, go to DEA.gov/onepill. #onepillcankill #prevention #fentanyl #harmreduction
