Mercy Ships HOPE [hospital out-patient extension] Center is a building not far from the ships, repurposed for a short time to accommodate people in need who have traveled from all over the region for hope and healing — it lives up to its name! As an extension of the ship, the HOPE Center is fully embraced as part of the Mercy Ships community. Many crewmembers visit often, getting to know patients, and participating in community activities like weekly church services.
