Mentor Impact Story: Early one evening, we spotted some familiar people at the field behind Pinkston. We saw TyTy and Deuce, mentees who also came to summer camp with us, and a friend of theirs. TyTy's mentor, Logan, was out throwing the ball with the three young men. Apparently, Logan went to hang out with TyTy and ended up grabbing all the guys just to make it more fun for everyone! We are always reminded that all the praying, meetings, planning, orientations, paperwork, emails, conversations, data entry, etc. are all worth it just to come alongside the parents to help kids come to know Christ, have fun, and gain a deeper sense of belonging and value. Join us on Thursday, October 24th for our Annual Luncheon to celebrate the impact of our mentors, staff, donors, volunteers and everyone helping Mercy Street make a difference! 🎟️ Tickets and tables are available at https://lnkd.in/gwds2gk9 or link in bio! #MercyStreetLuncheon2024 #mercystreet #annualluncheon #mercystreetsports #dallascharities

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our friends during the North Texas Giving Day Season. With their help and by the grace of God, we are fully prepared and enthusiastic to continue serving families in West and South Dallas. Praise the Lord!
Today, we are reflecting on yesterday’s Open House with full hearts and inspired minds! 🫶🏽😄 THANK YOU to our 129 donors and numerous supporters, volunteers and staff for helping us raise $241,609 for North Texas Giving Day! Your prayers, encouragement and gifts are what make our ministry possible and we are deeply thankful for all of you. A special thank you to The Marinelle & Kip Sowden Foundation for getting our campaign started with a $50,000 matching donation. We are also grateful for Robbie Baty and the group from Cushman & Wakefield that came out to serve with us!
