MERISTEM serves young adults, ages 18-24 years, on the autism spectrum by helping them develop practical life skills, increase social capacity, and transition to work and independence. We build the foundation for a productive life by helping to optimize the potential of each individual. A special emphasis is placed on preparing students for entry into the workforce or pursuing higher education.

So many year end festivities on campus yesterday! In Aerial Arts, Liz and Emily blew us away with their performance 🤩 This summer we added our first ever Aerial Arts Performance class. Our students picked their own music, moves, and costumes! Each student got a solo piece and they ended with a duet. Even our students and staff got in on the fun during the intermission! Way to go Liz and Emily!

One of the many ways our students have “awakened the possible” this summer! Today our drama students put on a reading of the radio play “Dick Tracy and the Big Top Murders” for the campus! They put together such a great show in such a little amount of time! There was even time for an audience Q&A at the end. What a fun way to help close out the program year! 🤩🎭

Harvest time! Our summer garden is flourishing! It's an amazing time around campus where all our students get to see their hard work sowing seeds, caring for plants come to fruition. Our organic produce and herbs are used for our daily snack, lunch, campus dinners, Friday Café and our herbal arts products.
