Meet David Yang, CFM, LEED AP, F.SAME, a senior federal project and program manager with our high performance facilities team. With more than 16 years at Merrick and an impressive 23-year career as an Air Force Civil Engineer Officer, Dave has led various multidisciplinary teams to deliver AE design services for clients like the US Air Force, US Army, NASA, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Bringing a background in aerospace engineering, one of his favorite projects has been our work on the Mars Sample Return Facility Assessment for NASA. He said having the opportunity to be a part of a project that conceptualized the development of a future high containment lab that also meets requirements for regulatory compliance, planetary protection, and cleanliness and contamination control so it can one day allow scientists to study and curate samples from Mars was mind blowing! We’re excited to see Dave continue to lead the way with our aerospace team as we explore the next frontier. 🌌 #wearemerrick
