MGC is making great progress on the Farallon Water Campus for the City of Buckeye. Pumps and hydro tanks have been set, the operations building is well underway, the chemical building slab has been poured, and 95% of the yard piping has been completed. We will soon be leak testing the 2.8MG reservoir, pouring our final slabs, and beginning above ground mechanical install - Ross Shores. #MGCContractors

Over the weekend, MGC held its annual Arizona Company Picnic, and what a fantastic day it was! It was great to see so many people enjoying delicious food, friendly horseshoe games, and face painting. MGC’s Project Team is installing a Lift Station located in Avondale, AZ. The Team began excavation on the 37’ single piece FRP Wet Well. The entire excavation zone is old cattle farms, and the soil has been a challenge throughout construction. MGC is working with all stake holders to execute an early substantial completion. The North Austin Reservoir and Pump Station (NARPS) is preparing for the startup phase, bringing the project closer to full operational readiness. The project involved demolishing the old reservoir, constructing a new 8-million-gallon reservoir, building a 50-million-gallon-per-day pump station, and extensive yard piping to integrate the new system. The scope also includes various site improvements, such as roadway construction, site lighting, a storm drainage system, and the installation of a security system. MGC is excited to announce that we have reached a significant milestone, achieving 50% completion on our Headworks Improvements and Digester No. 3 Rehabilitation projects at the El Paso Water Roberto R. Bustamante WTP. The Level 2 walls at the Influent Pump Station are nearly finished, and we have successfully completed the odor control slabs. We’re also close to completing the installation of the odor control bio-trickling vessels. The digester’s floating steel cover is nearly complete, and work is progressing well on the Electrical Feed Building... As we embark on the second half of the project, MGC will be challenged with the completing of the concrete structures, setting of the pumps, gates, valves, bar screens, blowers, piping, metals, and controls to bring this project to start up and commissioning. MGC is close to reaching the first major milestone in our Sam C McKenzie WRF Expansion Project! Concrete is 95 percent completed with leak testing underway and we will look to begin installing the Clarifier Mechanisms by the end of October as well as continuing underground pipe installation. Despite challenging circumstances, such as heavy ground water, MGC and our sub-contractor partners have pushed through to find solutions to meet those challenges. Thank you to the entire project team, Owner, Engineers, Sub-Contractors, and MGC Employee Owners for the continued dedication and collaboration. MGC reached a major milestone in our Provo River Water Treatment Plant Project. Over 2000 aggregate columns have been installed for ground stabilization under the project site.
