Over the past two weeks, we were fortunate to host a delegation of China Magnesite Materials Association (CMMA) staff and members for meetings and tours in Dallas, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. During their visit, CMMA members learned about the US construction industry and building materials markets in ways that will support their product exports to the US. Association representatives including our Chairperson Ryan Miller signed a Memorandum of Understanding cementing an association partnership between MgOBPA and CMMA to grow the #MagnesiumOxide #MgO building products markets in the US and China. Two weeks ago, MgOBPA spoke to more than 200 attendees at the China Magnesite Materials Association’s (CMMA) Third National Conference on Magnesium Resource Utilization in Haicheng City, China. In our presentation, MgOBPA Chairperson Ryan Miller provided an overview of the current US market for #MagnesiumOxide #MgO building products, many of which are currently imported from China, and offered recommendations for how our countries can work together to expand the North American market for these advanced building products.
