About us
The Mental Health First Aid Collaborative is led by Mental Health America of Northern KY and Southwest OH. Our MHFA projects aim to train 22,000 Ohioans in Mental Health First Aid by 6/30/25. You can find us under this name or the @MHFirstAidOH handle on Facebook and LinkedIn. An evidence-based program that has been adopted by over 20 countries, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches adults how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. To learn more or to schedule a training, go to www.ohiomhfa.org Our Mission: to make high quality, evidence-based Mental Health First Aid training available to all Ohioans. Our Vision: we believe that by working together we can make Mental Health First Aid as common as CPR in Ohio.
