Miaru

Being a founder sometimes feels like spinning a dozen plates at once—each one is crucial, and letting a single plate drop isn’t an option. Over the past three days, I’ve been deep in development mode, coding new UI and API features for our internal tools and adjusting our infrastructure. I also onboarded a new engineer to help carry the load and keep our projects moving efficiently. Meanwhile, I’ve been hard at work creating Japanese Hiragana and Katakana intro lessons, complete with recorded audio for proper pronunciation, and finalizing Korean Hangul lessons with voice-over artists—our first files should arrive in just three days. I’m also collaborating with a UI/UX designer to make sure our course experience is both intuitive and enjoyable, and discussing animations with artists to bring #Luffy and our lessons to life—once we finalize the user experience, we’ll be rolling out the full animation process. Outside of building the product, I’m also staying active on social media—engaging on X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Facebook to spread the word about Miaru and learn from fellow founders’ insights. And in the midst of it all, the most important task remains: being present for my family and kids, the true motivation behind everything I do. I want them to see firsthand that with determination and grit, you can create something meaningful—and never quit until you reach your goals. I hope this little glimpse into my weekend serves as both a progress update for Miaru and a reminder that you can do anything you set your mind to. The journey may be hectic, but the results are always worth it. Let’s keep going—together.

2021 I build a community of 5000 plus members in a few weeks. None of them knew me, I went by an alias, yet they all kept wanted to learn more about me and my project. Fast forward to 2025, all the same growth methods used and nothing is moving the needle. Maybe I should go anonymous again and hype Lambos to the moon 🤑 This shows how markets and methods change with time, what once worked does not mean it will work again. You must adapt to changes and figure it out, that is what being a founder is all about. Miaru is my passion and my goal is to build the largest learning community in the world with it.
