Our school district serves 13,00 students in 21 school sites. The Midwest City-Del City School District located immediately east of Oklahoma City, provides a comprehensive educational program for over 13,000 students. The district attracts the finest teachers available because of location, facilities, commitment to education, and a salary schedule which is one of the highest in the state. Our schools emphasize active student learning, higher order thinking, reading and writing across the curriculum, cooperative learning, parental involvement, and high expectations for personal achievement. We stress scholastic excellence with special emphasis on the basics. Ours is a school district where the priorities are teaching and learning.
