This summer, MidAmerica Industrial Park kicked off the third year of its dynamic STEM internship program, welcoming nine talented students from six area school districts! These students, passionate about STEM education and careers, have explored a range of technical skills—from electrical systems to computer-aided drafting—while touring local businesses and learning about future opportunities. Now in the project phase, they’re putting their new skills to the test. Upon graduation, these students will have the chance to secure a full-time internship with a MidAmerica company that aligns with their goals. Led by IFF, this initiative brought us all together in a shared effort to promote environmental stewardship and enhance our surroundings.
