We are pleased to share our 2024 Annual Report. In his Chairmans letter, Peter Thomas wrote, "For the past two years, your Company has focused on advancing exploration planning at Barkly. We were excited this year when we commenced field programmes at the Project, culminating in our first round of drilling at the Georgina Prospect post reporting period. Our exploration strategy focus on completing systematic detailed assessment of survey data, generated a significant list of 55 exploration targets meriting further screening, geophysics and drilling." First hole of the 2024 exploration drill programme at the Barkly Copper-Gold Super Project in the Northern Territory has been completed. The first hole was designed to test part of the very large Pebbles IOCG target within the Georgina Project area. The hole was drilled to 645.21m depth and is logging of the hole is now in progress. The hole intersected the cover sequence and target basement rocks (predominantly altered intrusives) close to the predicted depthss. Broad zones of ‘redrock’ (haematite-feldspar) alteration and magnetite alteration consistent with the ICOG target concept were recorded with narrow intervals containing trace copper and iron sulphides. The drill programme has been awarded funding from the Northern Territory Government as part of the Resourcing the Territory initiative. Chief Executive Officer, Roland Bartsch commented: “The start to the drill program has progressed smoothly. While no visible economic mineralisation was intersected in the first hole, observed alteration and presence of minor copper sulphide is encouraging and a start from which to build as the first hole only tested a small part of the extensive Pebbles gravity anomaly that’s has several km’s extent. The presence of observed base metal sulphides in the cover rocks is also an interesting development that opens new exploration possibilities in shallower target positions”. A maiden 3-hole diamond drilling program has commenced at our Barkly Copper-Gold Super Project in Northern Territory. The program is designed to test IOCG targets within the Georgina Project area with drill holes to 650m depth. The Barkly Copper-Gold Super Project is prospective for large Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) and Sediment Hosted Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag (SedH) deposits at Tennant Creek and Barkly. The Company’s exploration holdings in the region cover 6,918 sq kms with a large pipeline of significant (quality and scale) targets. The drill targets are based on interpretations and modelling of detailed geophysical data. The drillholes are designed to test well-defined density anomalies (‘shoots’) that are consistent with the densities, size, and geometries of known examples of the target deposit types. All drill targets are ‘blind’ beneath post-mineralisation cover and present as a significant scale discovery opportunity.
