Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, observed on October 15, serves as a poignant reminder of the profound grief experienced by families who have faced the unimaginable loss of a child. This day encourages open dialogue and provides a space for healing, honoring the memories of precious lives that were too brief. It is a time to support one another, share stories, and light a candle at 7 PM local time, creating a wave of light across the globe. In acknowledging this heartache, we foster a sense of community and compassion, reminding those who grieve that they are not alone in their journey.

Pregnancy and infant loss is a topic that can instantly stop us in our tracks; but without mindfully exploring our capacity to contribute to this specific birth experience, we may indirectly be causing even more harm to those already finding themselves in a traumatic birth event. https://lnkd.in/gH74PCYY

Texas residents! We need your support in passing Section 708 of H.R. 8070 of the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, which establishes a pilot program to treat pregnancy as a qualifying event for enrollment in TRICARE Select. Most notably, this Pilot will allow a member of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Space Force on active duty to enroll in TRICARE Select for a period that ends not later than 180 days after the end of pregnancy.
