About us

Mind the Gap Services (MTGS) optimizes key departments and resources with fractional CMO expertise at important milestones for SaaS startups, small businesses, and/or women-founded and led companies. MTGS provides core Marketing, Sales, and Operational services that creates a strong foundation needed to hit metrics-driven growth goals and bridge the gap between Marketing and Sales to support the CEO and scale effectively. Simply put, our mission is to find and resolve the gaps that keep Founders and CEOs from achieving growth and expansion. We do this through three pillars of service: Pillar 1 which provides fractional C-level strategic support to early-stage SaaS startups, to identify the gaps and connect the dots to accelerate their time-to-target achievement. Pillar 2, our Microservices, which gives small companies, at critical inflection points, access to C-level skills and marketing services that are typically out-of-reach due to cost. And Pillar 3 empowers women-led small businesses with resources and support to advance the growth of their business without worrying about immediate out-of-pocket costs.

On this day, we pause to remember the events of 9/11—a day etched in our history, shaping not only the nation but each of us individually. It was a day filled with loss, grief, and a sense of vulnerability, but also one that showed us the strength of unity, resilience, and the power of human compassion. As we reflect, we honor the lives that were tragically lost and the brave souls—first responders, firefighters, police officers, and everyday people—who risked everything to save others. Their courage reminds us of the best of humanity, even in the darkest of times. We also stand with the families whose lives were forever changed, offering our support and gratitude for the sacrifices made. For those of us who lived through that day, the memories remain vivid—where we were, how we felt, and the overwhelming need to come together in the face of adversity. Let’s carry forward the lessons of 9/11, remembering that even in moments of deep sorrow, we are capable of great strength and compassion. #NeverForget #Unity #Resilience #MindtheGapServices

In this video, our Co-founder Sarah Pettay gives her perspective on why marketing is so important. Marketing is the backbone of any startup, and is key for brand awareness, growth, and sustainability. At its core, marketing provides the foundation for connecting with potential customers, building brand recognition, and fostering trust, regardless of the stage your business is in. Startups often struggle when they don’t prioritize marketing from the beginning, leaving them without a clear strategy to attract and retain customers. As highlighted in this Forbes article (https://lnkd.in/grnxkEKW), failing to invest in marketing early on can hinder a startup's ability to grow, leaving them lost without a clear message or direction. A solid marketing strategy ensures that startups can not only introduce their products and services to the right audience but also build long-term relationships. By aligning marketing with each phase of business development, startups can adapt to changes, scale effectively, and position themselves for lasting success. When startups overlook marketing, they miss out on critical growth opportunities that could determine their survival in a crowded marketplace. #StartupMarketing #MarketingMatters #GrowYourBusiness #MindtheGapServices
