When working with an OPM, transparency isn't optional— —it’s essential. In fact, it’s a best practice when managing *any* marketing and enrollment partnership. Establish clear and open communication from the start. That way, if and when you reduce the scope of your engagement or part ways, the transition will be as smooth as possible. #highereducation #OPM #transparency #data #enrollment #marketing

Ever been in a class where the material just feels overwhelming? That’s where the magic of a well-designed online course comes in. Students can move at their own pace, making sure they truly understand the material. And when it comes to accessibility? Online courses break down barriers that traditional classrooms often struggle with, creating a more inclusive space for every learner. When done right, online learning can be an incredible experience. Of all MindMax’s core values, one is the most challenging to uphold: >> Providing actionable insights. << It’s far easier to simply share the data and leave it at that. That’s probably why so many marketers take that approach. Finding a trusted source for meaningful insights is increasingly rare. At MindMax, we make it our mission to be that trusted source. Learn more about the power of actionable insights in higher ed marketing: https://lnkd.in/edgsvi5D #highered #marketing #mindmax #actionableinsights #data

There’s plenty of talk about the hard skills college teaches to prepare people for the workforce. Like how to code, crunch numbers, or write a business plan. But what about human skills? >> Critical thinking >> Ethical judgment >> Empathy These skills are just as important and much harder to measure. They’re the ones that help employees navigate complex situations, adapt to change, and drive innovation in the workplace. College remains one of the best places to develop these human skills. More on why these skills are vital for corporate success in CEO Lee Maxey’s latest article for Chief Learning Officer: https://lnkd.in/efW--cMr #humanskills #education #leadership #workplaceculture #adaptability

We’ve all had teachers who saw potential in us. For Paul J. LeBlanc, former president of SNHU, three teachers changed his life. They lifted his sights and helped him dream bigger. Just like a teacher can change a life, so can an institution. SNHU’s “students first” approach is all about that. From flexible learning to breaking down barriers like transcript access, they’re putting students at the center. Learn how: https://lnkd.in/eVsjhs6m #studentsfirst #highereducationleadership

Data is only valuable if you draw good insights from it. (Avoid these 3 mistakes when you analyze yours.) 1. Jumping to conclusions Make sure you have enough data to reach a sound conclusion. Basing big decisions on a small amount of data may lead you astray. 2. Changing course impulsively When you aren’t getting the results you want, panicking can lead to unnecessary spending. Give your current approach enough time and budget before you determine it’s not working. 3. Assuming a trend will continue The marketing and enrollment landscape is constantly changing. Past success does not always predict future outcomes. Rather than chasing success, continue to test, verify, and base actions on a thorough understanding of the data. At MindMax, we embody this approach through our core value of “actionable insights.” Learn how we put this value into action: https://lnkd.in/edgsvi5D #data #corevalues #insights

What does it mean to put students first? That’s a question MindMax CEO Lee Maxey discussed with Paul J. LeBlanc. Paul was the President of Southern New Hampshire University for over 20 years. He’s the author of “Students First.” And he’s a leading voice in what it takes to meet students’ needs in higher education.
