About us
Minicam Inc, is the Minicam Group’s sales and service business in North America, providing manufacturers sales, training, service and support for the Minicam Group’s products. Minicam Inc was established following the acquisition of Visual Imaging Resources (VIR) in April 2023, a business that shared our passion for providing customers with the best service and support for their pipeline inspection and maintenance equipment. Today the business offers direct sales for all of our group inspection and trenchless products, with a network of service centers across North America to provide support. Operating as a specialized division of Minicam Inc, Minicam Trenchless focuses on the direct sales and support of Dancutter Pipeline Rehabilitation Cutters and Sewertronics UV LED Curing Equipment. The division supports customers in the trenchless rehabilitation market, using our trenchless technology to repair and maintain infrastructure in situ without the need to dig and replace, a costly and disruptive process. Minicam Inspection, another specialized division within Minicam Inc, provides direct sales and service for Minicam’s Proteus Crawler Systems and SOLO PRO+ Push Camera Systems. This division is committed to offering high-quality inspection solutions, that are easy to use with a reputation for robustness and reliability, helping you to meet your pipeline inspection needs.

Minicam Group are pleased to announce the acquisition of Hathorn Inspection Cameras, a business based in Ontario, Canada who design and manufacture plumbing and drainage inspection cameras, and its subsidiary Reliable Drain Cameras and Repair Inc, a camera service and repair centre based in Columbus, Ohio. Hathorn is a privately owned company with 23 employees, specialising in the design and manufacture of pipeline inspection products. Hathorn produce an extensive range of push camera systems mainly targeted at the wastewater market, offering inspection capability suitable for plumbing, drainage and sewerage pipes, sold to customers across North America and Australia. Established in 2003, Hathorn have built a strong reputation for producing durable cameras that align well with Minicam’s focus on providing customers with easy-to-use, robust and reliable products with excellent service and support. The North American market is a key focus for Minicam’s growth strategy, and this acquisition aligns with our ambitions to establish Minicam Group as a leading provider of inspection and maintenance products for the wastewater market in North America, accelerating our growth in our key target market. Hathorn will continue to operate under the existing leadership of Robert Luck (CEO), operating as part of the Minicam Group.
