I've been watching closely how decentralized finance (DeFi) is moving into a cross-chain holistic ecosystem that unifies liquidity to give a better experience and better flow for crypto finance. There's one platform in particular that see leading the forefront for multichain lending pools by Q2 of 2024. Minterest, the secure high-yield DeFi platform, has taken the next steps in launching new trading pairs on the way to its mainnet launch at the end of Q1. I spoke with Kyn Chaturvedi, the CEO of Minterest, about building an efficient DeFi platform that channels revenues back to the main users and tokenholders of the platform and drives liquidity into a single place with cross-chain unification. Since the launch of Minterest on it's first blockchain, Mantle Network, they have experienced significant growth. Currently, over $3M in assets on Mantle is on the supply side, earning yields in MNT and MINTY. Minterest has just announced a new pair for lending and borrowing with higher yields, earning APY in four different tokens simultaneously: mETH and mUSD. It's pretty easy to get mETH if you have wETH on the Mantle network and swap using one of the DEXs on Mantle. I am doing my best to accumulate as many MNT and MINTY (unreleased) rewards before the mainnet launch and the release of the MINTY token. It's not often you can earn yield on supplying in DeFi for an unreleased token, so I am capitalizing on the opportunity.
