Karen McDonald and Chrissy Morgan were recently recognized at the NADONA conference in June. They each earned an award for their can-do attitudes and contribution towards the mission and goals of NADONA. Congratulations! Above and Beyond - Karen McDonald   Karen has been a member of NADONA for many years and during those years has always upheld and supported NADONA. She always responds with a positive attitude when something is asked of her and usually goes beyond that as evidenced by bringing the Nurse Honor Guard live to our conference for the last 2 years. She is a devoted and loyal member and deserves this award! Spirit of NADONA - Chrissy Morgan   Chrissy is the new president of the Kansas Chapter and has been instrumental in growing the chapter. She is dedicated and it shows through her ever-positive attitude. She encourages other nurse leaders and is always willing to help spread the mission and value of NADONA.

Mission Health does a World of Good! As the holidays begin, we encourage our communities to pick one local charity or foodbank for a donation. This gives us a sense of pride and gratitude knowing we have helped multiple families during the holidays. Our leadership team will also participate in Mission Giving at our annual conference. This year, we built rocking horses for children who are ill and of less fortunate families. 24 rocking horses were built and delivered to Children's Home Society of Florida and Halifax Health.
