MHA hosted a webinar this morning on how becoming an age-friendly health system can help our hospitals meet the new CMS age-friendly measure that will go into effect on January 1. We are working with the Mississippi State Department of Health and the Alzheimer's Association® to grow our age-friendly hospital numbers in Mississippi, including ongoing work through our Mississippi Rural Age-Friendly Health System initiative. On May 1, 2025, MSDH will host the 3rd annual Healthy Aging Summit at the Sheraton Refuge in Flowood. We will be recognizing all hospitals that achieve recognition as an age-friendly hospital - and we want that to include you and your staff!
