Project Update: Massive Steel Beam Installations Underway! This week on-site, our team hit a major milestone on our latest #mezzanine project! We’ve been busy lifting massive 1.5-tonne steel beams into place—just check out these impressive photos! With the help of a 60-ton crane, we carefully lifted each beam from ground level up to a stunning 9-meter height, where they are being positioned to support the #SteelStructure. To get each beam to its exact work area, our team used heavy-duty trolleys, ensuring precision every step of the way. As always, we're being mindful of the floor's weight limits to avoid overloading. #HealthAndSafety is our top priority. The mezzanine is being built out with the help of 5-ton A-frames and an electric power hoist, which are essential for managing the materials and maintaining smooth progress on-site. Exciting Project Update! We are currently working on a challenging #mezzanine build for one of our major F&B clients - an experience like no other! This project takes place in a fully operational warehouse with chilled storage, making it critical to minimize disruption to the client’s ongoing operations. The challenge? Getting the plant equipment to the right location. To achieve this, a section of the warehouse roof had to be temporarily removed, the plant dismantled and lowered through the ceiling. Once inside the plant was reassembled to start the mezzanine installation.   And just wait until you see these photos! If you suffer from vertigo, this 7-tier steel structure might not be for you – but our team are delivering a safe solution that perfectly fit the requirements. Looking back at an incredible Hearts & Hands Week (#HHW2023) at MiTek last month! Our global team came together to make a positive impact in their communities, giving back through volunteering, donating, and supporting causes close to their hearts. In Cologne, the MiTek Deutschland team took to the streets, volunteering their time to clean up the environment by picking up litter. Meanwhile, over in the UK, our MiTek Mezzanine Systems team hosted a delightful cream tea fundraising afternoon, raising funds for the local food bank and supporting those in need. A new MiTek Mezzanine Systems client in the Czech Republic, a leading beverage producer, has decided to partly automize their operation in an existing warehouse facility. The new system will include conveyor systems that can safely transport drink pallets five meters above the ground.
